Spring Has Awoken My Muse - At Least A Little

The scans are horrid on these, as is the usual for dimentional objects. Some day I'll have a nice digital camera that takes fabulous pictures! :)

The first little pieces were done for a "123" Challenge. You had to make a 1", a 2" and a 3" Itty Bitty in the same theme and send them to one person. My person was Sandee (of Sandee's Sanity on the right in the list of blogs to visit). The theme I chose was SPRING and these are called "Spring Awakening". They represent the things of spring to me: planting a garden, baby birds and new flowers. I used bits of vintage lace on each three, which seems to be a favorite thing of mine to do lately! :) This second bit of art was made for BARB of 123 Lavender Lollypop Lane on the top of the blog list. It was actually THE SECOND little hanging I made for her because the first strangely disappeared from the envelope en route. Strange how that happens to our art, isn't it?! Anyways, this was done on a thick canvas and hangs from the ribbon on top. The bottom has a triangular bit of flower lace hanging off of it and although it is difficult to see here, it's really pretty! The words say "borne upon the wing" and came from a vintage book I am shamelessly tearing apart for words. ;)
